Bitters can be a welcomed and noticeable addition to any fruit salad. They add depth to the flavor of the salad by subtly contrasting the natural sweetness of the fruit. 

For a brighter citrus salad, whisk together 1 teaspoon of citrus zest, 1/4 cup of citrus juice, 2 tablespoons of honey and 2 tablespoons of dark rum in a large bowl.  Add 1/4 teaspoon-1 teaspoon of our LEMON GINGER BITTERS to taste. The bitters should be subtle yet perceptible. Add 4 cups of fresh citrus pieces and 1 tablespoon of minced crystalized ginger. Gently toss to coat. Cover and chill for 30 minutes. Before serving, garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
