MELON MARGARITA

  • CHILI SALT*
  • 2 oz FRESH CANTALOUPE JUICE
  • 1½ oz TEQUILA, preferably 100% blanco tequila
  • 1 oz FRESH LIME JUICE
  • 1/4 tsp AGAVE NECTAR
  • 3 dashes of CECIL & MERL CUCUMBER BITTERS

Run a wedge of lime around a rocks glass and dip the rim into the salt. Add ice cubes to the glass.  Add all ingredients into a shaker and fill with ice. . Shake and strain into prepared glass. Add 3-4 dashes of C & M Bitters and garnish with a lime wedge. 

*Salted rims

  • 3 parts kosher salt
  • 1 part ancho chili powder or regular chili powder.

On a small, rimmed plate, mix together the salt and chili powder.
