TURMERIC AVOCADO TOAST

  • 1 thick slice OF PEASANT BREAD
  • OLIVE OIL
  • 1 ripe AVOCADO
  • 1 teaspoon LIME JUICE + LIME WEDGE
  • COARSE SEA SALT + GROUND BLACK PEPPER
  • 1/8 teaspoon GROUND TURMERIC
  • 5 dashes CECIL & MERL TURMERIC BITTERS
  • COCONUT OIL 
  • CHILI FLAKES

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly brush both sides of sliced bread with olive oil. Bake on baking sheet until golden brown. Scoop avocado into a small bowl. Mash with ground turmeric, turmeric bitters, and lime juice. Season with salt + a touch of pepper. Spread on toasted bread. Garnish with chili flakes, a drizzle of coconut oil, and a squeeze of lime.  

*Additional Garnishes: thinly slice radishes, cilantro leaves, microgreens
